Weekend Round up

It was another busy week for me so I wasn’t able to get as many posts up as I would have liked. It was also a week of Nokia.

Here’s what you may have missed.

This is a counterpoint post to my previous post on Why I Love Windows Phone 8 and Why I Won’t Switch to it. I discuss all of the reasons why the Nokia Lumia 920 is enough of a phone to lure me away from my current mobile OS of choice.

Earlier rumors of a Nokia tablet look to be very likely true since WMPoweruser has confirmed this with their sources that these unicorns really exist. According to them, Nokia has actually provided these tablets to Microsoft for app testing.

In a huge shock to the tech world, AT&T announced that they would be the exclusive carrier for the Nokia Lumia 920.

I really hope Nokia heard the collective groan of thousands upon thousands of Windows Phone 8 fans as AT&T announced that they had snagged the exclusive right to sell the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 in the United states. However, PR and marketing departments can be tricky. There is still a chance that a derivative of the Lumia 920 will come to Verizon so Windows Phone 8 fans shouldn’t give up hope yet.
